Based in the Lledr Valley and Gwydir Forest in Snowdonia National Park, North Wales, we have holiday accommodation, run our own residential workshops and host retreats for other therapists. Our own retreats include using sound natural nutritional principles, Body Electronics and Tai Chi. We are running the workshops from home - a beautiful place called Rhiw Goch.
We offer residential accommodation on all our workshops and retreats, and currently have two bedrooms we are using in the house. In addition we have our self-contained cottage. All rooms are shared. The gardens are full of idyllic and secluded spots for camping for those up for a more down to earth experience or with a tighter budget.
We can accommodate up to 4 people in our cottage as there is a King size bed and a bunk bed. When not running workshops we offer the cottage as a holiday let. It is cosy, fully equipped and a perfect base from which to explore Snowdonia, or to simply come and enjoy the tranquility of the gardens and surrounding landscape. Visit our Rhiw Goch Cottage Page for details and booking information.
Passionate about the energy and beauty of Snowdonia, we are skilled and experienced health practitioners who run small residential workshops. We value what people take away when they have the individual attention that only a small group experience can give. Generally there will be no more than 10 people on any workshop, with 2 or 3 of us facilitating the all-round experience of staying at Rhiw Goch.
We see that changing ourselves, by shifting old emotions and beliefs, starts changes in our lives. We can start this process by working with sound nutritional principles, clearing out old debris. We can continue by working strongly on the body, our vessel which holds onto those emotions and beliefs. At Rhiw Goch we do this either through the complete cycles of inner work which come out of the sustained holding of body points known as Body Electronics, through bodywork such as yoga, tai chi and massage, through naturopathy and with fresh air, fun and good exercise!
One of us will be workshop leader depending upon our skills and the rest of us will be in supporting roles, to be there for our guests, see to the food and accommodation, organise trips out or walks and so on. We aim to make this a total retreat experience, a seamless one and a personal one. We want you to leave as a friend not just someone who came on a workshop. Success to us is not growth in numbers of people in workshops and an endless increase in the money coming in, it is to create a space where people can go deeper into themselves. This is a place to retreat and escape from your outer life, but not from yourself.
Our goal is to give our workshop participants an experience to remember, with principles on all levels of being to take away and apply in their lives. From past experience of running workshops, the experience can be life-changing after long held emotions have shifted out of the body.
We provide comfortable accommodation and facilities for a variety of tastes and budgets, so that you can experience your chosen workshop right in the heart of this area of outstanding natural beauty. Being embraced by Rhiw Goch is the perfect setting for this sort of transformative experience. We cannot hear any road, we don't get much in the way of phone signals and you can walk into the forest from right out of the door or get lost in the landscaped gardens.
We are a small team of practitioners experienced at running workshops, groups and in a one-to-one setting.
